We take P2P file swapping to a new level: We do it for real, in person!
On Open Streets Day, we will create a giant FREE content library that everyone can join in and share.
Swap till you drop, or until your USB stick is full.
How to take part:
Bring a device of your choice: Your cell phone, a USB stick, your portable hard drive, a memory card or SDcard.
Bring content that is free and which you have permission to share for free.
This can be your own content or content that you are passionate about or want to share.
We won't discourage total freedom in file sharing, but make sure your content is either in the public domain, or released under a permissive copyleft or Creative Commons License.
People who create content may have vested Intellectual Property rights which we need to respect, and acknowledge their rights and freedoms.
Since there is so much free stuff on the Net, swapping of free content is endless, and we will be doing it on the 26th, via P2P in Person.
We will be outside Gandalfs on Lower Main Rd. The club will be open for a digital be-in with bitcoin shooters for the event.
Bring any content that you know others will appreciate and want to see.
Bring your poems, your songs, your drawings and your designs.
Bring your podcasts, movies and videos, animations, photos and writings, surprise us with new and fresh content.
Bring your laptops, smartphones and tablets.
Show us that there is excellent local content, homemade in South Africa
